Our story
Onyx Creative is a consultancy focused on self-care through creative expression. Our programs help mitigate stress and burnout through a comprehensive emphasis on the 8 dimensions of wellness. We offer safe space creative sessions for individuals, families, teams and corporations that educate, entertain and enhance lives.
We believe that everyone has value. We believe that everyone has a story to tell. We believe that everyone is creative. We believe that an untold story is the basis for many of our difficulties at home, in our communities and in our workforce. We access the value through the story that is told by tapping into the intrinsic creativity of each individual.
The telling of our stories accesses our value and strengthens our connection. The telling of our stories reduces the need for senseless aggression or fear of missing out. It reduces our need for unhealthy rivalry and increases our ability to work together.
Creativity is the vehicle. When we are being creative, we can be our true selves. We don’t have to stifle who we are and who we can be. We can reduce judgement. We can reduce oppression and unleash potential. We can create environments where the perceived necessity of these ills will fail to create angst. We can do this all by being our basic true selves – one authentic individual at a time.

Our Vision
Onyx Creative looks to create and administer programs that include individual and corporate self-care as well as community support. Onyx Creative’s core values are creativity, self-care, self-expression, emotional health and interconnectivity. Onyx Creative seeks to grow to include various geographical areas and corporate industries in order to perpetuate self-care as a practice.

We believe that everyone has immense value. We believe that everyone has a unique and powerful story to tell. We believe that everyone is creative.
